With a keyboard almost half the size of an adult piano, this new model is designed with the three-to-nine-year-old in mind. Unsurpassed in quality, pitch, and durability, each Baby Grand is crafted entirely by hand and individually tuned. Its chime-like notes are produced by little hammers striking metal bars, versus conventional taut wires used in full-sized models. The lovely toy-piano sound is what makes the Schoenhut charming and unique. Schoenhut's patented Learning System, with its play-by-color teaching method, is designed to make playing fun and easy. A removable color strip fits behind the keys to guide small fingers from chord to chord. The chart also works on adult keyboards, since keys on Schoenhut toy pianos are of corresponding width.
