Language Arts Centers, Grades 4-6, has 18 self-contained centers that are presented in folders. These centers give students' the opportunity to have fun while practicing many basic language arts skills. The skills practiced are: antonyms; alphabetical order; parts of speech; synonyms; combining sentences; analogies; kinds of sentences; main idea and supporting details; metaphors and similes; multiple-meaning words; persuasive paragraphs; syllogisms; root words; using commas; write a story; homophones; poetry idioms.
