Young children love this collection of short Bible stories accompanied by pictures, which are brightly coloured as well as realistic in their approach. It is an excellent tool to use in introducing young children to a wide selection of Bible characters. The questions at the end of each story help to reinforce the story and involve the child on a more interactive level instead of a purely passive one. The gospel message is explained and applied to young lives throughout the book. Carine Mackenzie is a well-respected author of Children's bible stories. The Little Hands Story Bible was used as part of a millennium exhibition, which aimed to bring the Bible back to the people. School trips were organised to the various events and Church youth groups also attended the exhibitions and workshops run by Jennifer Stevenson the artist.
