Mounted on a finished wooden base with an acrylic transparent cover which may be removed for study. The display case measures 9 1/2" x 4" x 2 7/8". Genus species - Carassius auratus. This fish skeleton is over 8" long. Great specimen for comparative study. Mounted on the base is an individual vertebra and attached ribs, along with the left gill plate. The left side gill is exposed for examination of the internal structure.
